OMA welcomes EVOmx Foam on board with our 2008 program!

In 2006, after using EVOmx fuel foam during the 2006 AMA Outdoor National season to finish in the top 20, seasoned AMA National pro rider Carter Gurnee started Evomx.com to offer this evolutionary foam technology to his fellow racers. As a regular on the AMA circuit for over 10 years, Carter has also been involved in the testing phase of several companies’ products while in Research and Development and believes in the ability of EVOmx foam to improve results. Previously only used by auto racers and the US government, it will now be hard to find top riders in the motocross industry without this foam in their fuel tanks.

The calendars are for sale for $9 ea and are a great value. They will be available at MXC and OMA events this year. We can take orders via email and ship out calendars for $2 extra each, making them $11 by mail.

EVOmx Fuel Tank Foam Makes Supercross Debut

  Murrieta, CA (January 9, 2007) EVOmx is proud to be a supporter of Team Hooters/Moto XXX/Tamer for the 2008 supercross and outdoor season. "Our partnership with the team really came down to the wire," said EVOmx's Carter Gurnee. "We had been working with Kevin Maret for a couple of months, but with all of the last minute changes with the team we didn't get everything in place until the night before the Anaheim 1 round."

 EVOmx is very excited to be partnered with a team like Hooters/MotoXXX/Tamer. "They are one of the hottest teams out there and we are very happy to be working with them," reports Gurnee.

 According to Gurnee, "This partnership will allow us to showcase the benefits of the anti-slosh fuel tank foam at the highest level of the sport. Riders reported that using EVOmx foam kits reduced the inertia caused by fuel movement in the gas tank.  They felt that they had more control over the bike and can therefore significantly improve speed in corners and rough sections of the track. Tank foam has become a must-have in the professional ranks and it is our belief that EVOmx offers the best product on the market."

The 2007 Series are Officially over!
The banquet was a big hit! We thank all racers and their families for supporting the banquet. 

Our 2008 dates are posted online under the OMA schedule... 5 New venues in progress! We get asked many questions about why the change, not that they like the thought!  When Bill and Parts Unlimited started this series that was one of the selling points for both... change up venues as much as possible.  There is no bad relations between past venue owners and OMA.  And we look forward to possibly returning to those venues in the future. 

Another question asked... What happened to the Moose Run???
There are several reasons for canceling the Moose Run.  One... We at OMA feel the stigma of "America's Toughest Race" was hurting the series more than bringing attention to the series.  Most amateurs do not want to trash their 6-7 thousand dollar bike that they are making payments on.  So that's most of it. So we decided to move Moose Racing's title round to the fall race, also known as "The Race".  Some may remember this race being "The Moose Run" in the past.  The America's toughest race stigma is no longer a part of the OMA series.  And we make this decision based on our racers who follow the series or would like to follow the series without having to compete in such a narly event.

Next year we will be changing up arrow colors. Due to the fact the black/white arrows were difficult to see in certain conditions. All black/white arrows will be replaced with blue/white arrows. All other arrows for classes following red/white or orange/black will remain.

Don't forget to email/call and reserve your number for '08.  All racers running the series must reserve a number.

Also our registration forms are updated online if you would like to sign up as a member early. Just print, fill out, and send the fee / form to the address on the form.

'08 manufacturer contingency! Don't forget to sign up with the manufacturers for '08 and get that money!!!!!! If you have questions, please contacts us and we'll help you out!

Another big change.... The Pro's M/C series purse! In an effort to give our upcoming Pro riders an opportunity to achieve more monetary awards for '08, we've adjusted the series cash awards.

2nd - 4,000 --- 3rd - 3,000 --- 4th - 2,000 ---- 5th - 1,750
6th - 1,500 --- 7th - 1,000 --- 8th - 750 --- 9th - 600 --- 10th - 400

Our ATV Series purse will most likely remain as '07.
