With our fifth year behind us the coverage & success of our true cross-country series was more than we could have imagined! For 2009 our goals are to design off-road courses that require some thought along with a challenge to even the Pro class riders on occasion. Speaking of the Pro M/C class, after the 2006 series & event purse of $45,000, the biggest cash purse ever for the cross country racer. Once again we will offer racers in the pro class an opportunity to compete in a series designed with single-track motorcycle trails with a pot of gold at the end of it.
1st Place $5,000 -2nd Place $4,000 -3rd Place $3,000 -4th Place $2,000 -5th Place $1,750 -6th Place $1,500 -7th Place $1,000 -8th Place $750 -9th Place $600 -10th Place $400
And if that’s not enough gold, each round we will have a $2,500 - Up Pro purse with $1,000 to the overall winner (check out pay scale for Pros on back). Pro class riders MUST display yellow numbers in a blue background. This is mandatory!!!!! Pro racers must become a member with United Off Road Racing Assn. for the current year. Memberships are available at each event or on our website. Pro’s that qualify for the Parts Ulmtd OMA Series purse 1 st thru 5 th are obligated to attend the Banquet, if you are not present there will be a percentage of your award deducted as a fine. This percentage will be 10% of your purse winnings period! Vemar Helmets will be sponsoring a $200 Pro M/C Hole-Shot award at each OMA event.
Pro ATV Riders!! Series Pro points purse of $2,500… 1st $1,000 – 2nd $600 – 3rd $400 – 4th $300 – 5th $200 (check out event pay scale for Pros on back).

Amateur classes will receive throughout the series $25,000 or more worth of sponsors’ product awards. Yamaha, Suzuki, & Kawasaki will be supporting OMA again for ’09, along with many product sponsors! We thank them for supporting OUR sport! And ask our racers to support these industries, after all Support the Sport works both ways!
This series has great sponsors, great challenging courses for cross-country racers, and a great following of riders for the last 30 years. This is an invitation to you to be a part of the program in 2009. This series will offer cross-country racers that enjoy the challenge of natural undisturbed terrain an opportunity to compete in a true country adventure.
Our Parts Unlimited dealership at the Bike Barn will be open Monday thru Friday from 8:00 to 12:00. We will be offering a discount to all UORRA members on all of your riding needs. Don’t forget to get your Moose gear and get signed up for the Moose Bucks Contingency Program. The program is for both the OMA and MXC Series this year. If you have any questions on how the program works, give us a call at The Bike Barn 815-778-3641.
Our Bike Barn riding area will be closed til March 1 st. Your 2009 UORRA Membership will include riding at the Bike Barn from March 1 st thru Nov 31 st.
All this is good, but to most off-road racers the best news may be the fact that UOR Racing does not own a bulldozer. We may be somewhat old fashion, but we believe cross-country means just that. We will be designing courses including Moto-X tracks, open grass tracks, and a good portion of motorcycle single track. Most series have abandoned these types of trails; we will continue to put the COUNTRY in the world of cross-country racing.
Attention Mini Racers:
The class a mini racer will register in will determine on the age of the racer at the first race, March 8th. Backgrounds/Numbers are listed below.
OMA Saturday M/C Classes:
