Located a few minutes from downtown Nashville, a glance away from Interstate 24, OMA would kick off it's 5th Season. Shawn Hess hit his OMA debut with an Overall finish. His debut win did not come easy, with Kyle Martin leading most of the day, Martin and Taylor Kiser would swap leads few times throughout the event. Onto the Easter Egg Hunt and the Mini's...
Saturday was a day of muddy atv’s, and not sure if you are aware of this, but computers/scanners and mud are Not a good combination! Sunday, the sun came out and gave everyone a great Easter Day! Old Bill Gusse has always had a soft spot for the kids and the kids on Easter… it’s just “his” kids he has no soft spot for… ok… so I’m exaggerating… Holidays he’s always in the spirit, but just Holidays. Don’t “Ooh poor Bill” me… he had that one coming! .... :-)
After rounding up prizes from Roxanne at Moose Racing, Heather at Maxxis, Jarrett and Whibley, along with Bill going to Walmart to support China… The kids were in for an Easter treat! I can’t help to think, we all got more excited about the Easter Egg Hunt than the race itself. Even Jarrett got an Easter surprise, when the young girl who won his jersey looked up at her father and ask “Who’s Thaaat?” Priceless stuff! Posted below is a few pictures taken by John Gasso and Mark Kariya, click on images to enlarge.
On your marks... get set...
... HUNT!!!!
Even the adorable little ones got some eggs!
Some came prepared and had the "nicer" baskets!
Just a "great" picture!
Now here's a good one... as always Jimmy Jarrett helping the kids have fun... always a hit with the kids!
Unfortunately this kid does "NOT" looked impressed with JJ's counting skills... I have a feeling she recounted.
He must have been hanging with JJ too...
Lined up for the prizes!

Team Geico is insuring a series of OMA wins by signing, not one, but two former OMA Champions... 08 Champ, Paul Whibley, and 4 Time Champ, Jimmy Jarrett. Throw in a top wild card, like Scott Watkins, and a podium sweep is in sight. Missed by one place, Watkins secured 4th place after a tricky chase with Jason Thomas.
